   IMPLACABLE (OR UNAPPEASABLE) (Adj.)



Meaning- opposed to someone or something in a very angry or determined way that cannot be changed.

Explanation- placate or appease or mollify means to make someone less angry or to calm someone down. Placable means person who can be placated. Therefore, implacable means person who is not capable of being satisfied.

Synonym- INEXORABLE, UNAPPEASABLE

Uses-
  •          The threat of invasion by an implacable enemy.
  •          Michael like Tina. I don’ t know the reason for Tina’ s implacable enmity to Michael.
  •         Instead of focusing on implacable person, we should refocus on Jesus, who accepts us unconditionally.
