                                         VEX (Verb)

Meaning- 1) to make another person annoyed or upset.
                        2) to make someone anxious or to agitate.
                        3) to confuse or to puzzle other people.

Mnemonic trick- The word vex sounds similar to tax. Nowadays, number of taxes like service tax, income tax and other taxes continue to vex us. Therefore, vex means to make another person annoyed or anxious or to confuse others.
