                  CAPITULATE AND RECAPITULATE


CAPITULATE and RECAPITULATE are entirely different words with different meaning.
                                                                CAPITULATE (Verb)

Meaning- Surrender, to agree to do something that you have been refusing to do something for a long time.

Synonym- SURRENDER, ACQUIESCE, NEGOTIATE

Uses-
  •          The enemy was warned to capitulate.
  •          The club eventually capitulated and now grants equal rights to the woman.


                                                 RECAPITULATE (Verb)

Meaning- To give a brief summary of something or to summarize.

Synonym- SUMMARIZE, SUM UP

Uses-
  •          It is must to recapitulate the notes for doing revision for examination.
  •          Student told the professor that they have got his lecture and there is no need to recapitulate anything.
