                          ENCROACH (Verb)



Meaning- 1) to move into an area that is beyond the usual or desired limits.
                       2) to gradually take or affect something that belongs to someone else.

Mnemonic trick- The word encroach contains word 'croach'. 'Croach' sounds similar to cockroach. Cockroach encroached in our house. Therefore, encroach means to move into an area that is beyond the usual or desired limits or to gradually take something that belongs to someone else.
