                                AGGRANDIZE (Verb)
Meaning- 1) to make great or greater in power, honor, rank or wealth.
                        2) to enhance the power, wealth, position or reputation of something (or someone).
Mnemonic trick- The word aggrandize contains word ‘grand’. Therefore, aggrandize means to make something grand or to make great or greater in power, honor, rank or wealth.
Synonym- EXAGGERATE, GLORIFY, MAGNIFY, BRAG, UPGRADE, EMBELLISH
Uses-
  •          Being elected to the highest office of the land certainly aggrandized the sense of importance for Frank ‘s uncle.
